Das kompakte Laserfax FAX-2840 arbeitet mit einer Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit von 33.600 bps. Der automatische Vorlageneinzug fasst bis zu 30 Blatt. Mit dem Timer können bis zu 50 Aufträge programmiert werden und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt gesendet werden. Somit ist es perfekt geeignet für den Arbeitsplatz.

Unlike some other faxes these days the instructions you get with it are quite detailed (you also get a full instruction manual on a disc). However when we tried a test to see if it was working we got one of the other organisations within our building to send us a fax. They used a fax facility through a photocopier but for some reason could not make a connection with our machine. However if you phoned our fax number you heard it ringing and you got the fax tone when it answered. We then got our HO to send us a fax and it worked ok and we have received other faxes as well. Still don't know what the original problem was. Toner cartridges are also a lot cheaper than the ones for our previous fax machine as well.

I have purchased six so far as replacements for 2920 units, of which I bought 28, and will continue to use Brother fax machines as long as we have a need for faxing.
